This is truly unbelievable: a Dutch Court has just betrayed its own people, by having ruled that the brilliant and courageous Member of Holland's Parliament
Geert Wilders
must stand trial for "incitement to hatred" because of his lucid warnings made in Parliament, and for the film "Fitna" which he produced several years ago.

This evil, vicious attack on him, is being made in a country where, only 2 weeks ago, people freely ran around on public streets, shouting:
"Hamas....Hamas....Jews to the Gas!".....while they defaced Jewish properties!

There's little on this earth, that has the power to shock me. But this despicable act of Governmental Lawfare has me totally speechless.

Is American Idol trying to end itself? They've been boring us to death with an endless parade of total idiots, most of whom behaved and performed as if they'd just been released from a mental ward.......add to that, a new and fourth judge who is a truly offensive and nasty human being, and.......well, I fell asleep and didn't wake up until Idol was over and an incredibly well-done pilot of something titled "Lie To Me" was happening on the same channel. It was amazingly well-directed and well-acted. I hope it returns, because it promises to be a treasure.

Yes, I watched the core hour of the Inauguration, and wondered who picked Diane Feinstein - just about the last and least inspiring person one could choose to run a momentous event, followed by a lady in red whose name I never caught and whose endless words (she went on and on and on) I never heard because by then I'd clicked the sound off.......followed by some kind of religious person who just couldn't prevent himself from making a nasty remark about white people.......followed by a Supreme Court Judge who fudged a line from the oath of office Obama had no choice but to repeat, which is why he's taking that oath for a second time, today.......and then, our new president giving a rather angry speech which, among other things, completely ignored the millions of Americans who had traveled to DC from all around the country and who stood right there in front of him in the freezing cold.

I've got something fun to watch on TV, again.

For me, those shows are an oasis in the desert. Probably because they attempt to discover and reward exceptional ability and talent, the things I value above anything else.

Jim called and said that he'd finally gotten a group together and that he'd really like for me to join it. I felt flattered. So I went.

When I arrived, he made all 5 of us stand together between 2 rooms, and told us to choose which room we'd like to use. Then he just stood there, and everybody else just stood there, so I walked into one of the rooms and sat down.
Then everybody followed me.
Then Jim "started" the group.
Then another person arrived.
Then he "started" it again,
and we all watched in silence, while he gave each one of us a piece of paper and a pen. But because he never told us what to do with those 2 items, we all just sat there, doing nothing.
Then he played a New-Age-kind-of-CD
and we all listened in silence.
Then he got up and shut it off.
Then, one of the people there announced that SHE wanted to run the group, and Jim said she could, and then she wrote something on that piece of paper he'd given her, and started to cry.
Everybody kinda just sat there, watching her,
while Jim didn't say a word.
Then, the woman who had started to cry, began to sob really loud, and I suddenly remembered a character called "The Depressed Person" from one of David Foster Wallace's short stories, and knew that the sob-woman had played this exact same scene many times before she came to this group, and that it was her way to control it.

After that, each time Jim again started to lead the group, someone else began to run it FOR him, while the sob-woman just continued to cry.

I was mentally planning my exit, and before I could begin to suffer, I gathered my stuff, whispered an apology and a fake explanation into Jim's ear, got up, walked out, went home, made the best pancake ever, and watched

WHY did Obama tell the American people that things will probably get a whole lot worse?
That's a really far cry from his original "hope" message....and it's very definitely NOT what we needed to hear, at this time!

WHY do Car Dealers sell only one particular brand? Why couldn't we all go shopping for a car in one single place that carries all or most of the vehicles being produced across the world? Especially in small towns where there ARE no other dealerships?

WHY is there no mandatory retirement age for the members of Congress? The place often looks like a home for the sick, the infirm, the permanently angry, and the terminally weird!

Jews seem never to be satisfied, until their own blood or the blood of their children, flows deep into the ground.

Israel was doing fine, when it decided to bomb the Hamas terrorist installations of evil aggression, but knowing their repeated lust for failure, I was simply waiting for them to turn their military success around and go for a more certain defeat - as they usually do.

Today, the despicable Israeli government sent its military personnel into the immense city of Gaza ON FOOT.

So now their children will be slaughtered.

I'm not going to look and I'm not going to care.

There's a lot of confused and confusing architecture going up around the world, one example of which, is this Virginia
MUSEUM OF ART
whose designers must have figured that if they provided a white half-shell like those of the much-admired
SYDNEY OPERA
plus a glass-type pyramid like the equally-admired-one at the Louvre......while then adding some very solid brown (today's "in" cement color) chunks of heavy concrete to this assortment of mismatched styles, they couldn't possibly fail to impress their client.
